From Cheras With Love (LOL!!!) ~ Mom Sitting

(Tagline di title sangat tak international. hahah. Orang lain London-Paris-New York lagi with love. Saya setakat Cheras pon nak kecoh..)

It has been quite some time kami adik-beradik berulang-alik ke Cheras; my brother's place. Mak di sana sekarang. For maybe close to 4 months now. Seperti biasa, kami ada roster kami menjaga mak (my sisters are good in this roster thing).

Soalan mak sama setiap masa. Boleh ke mak duduk sini? Depa tak marah ke? Siapa jaga mak? Sampai bila nak jaga mak macam ni? Larat ke? Etc, etc..First time kena tanya soalan2 cepumas ini, ternyata agak gagap nak jawab.

Tea is almost always in bed these days. Mom has proper hospital bed with all the bells and whistles (my sisters are good in this as well. hahahah)

Dengan cicit yang paling muda (or antara yang paling muda, I think).. Duduk di KL lebih bagus - we all thought so. Ada je visitors datang. Adik-beradik, makcik-pakcik. Anak2 sedara. Cucu-cicit. Tak sunyi macam di kampung.

An occasional afternoon stroll. Sangat jarang nak keluar rumah walaupun we insist that she need not get up while out. Biasa nya the conversation goes like, mak jom kita pergi ambik angin? Tak mau. Tak larat..

They Are Two!!!

The babies are two this year. Already! Birthday Umar in Feb and Sara recently. When they were one we had parties (here and here). Tahun ni takde party dah. Presents je.

Sara makan2 kek dengan kawan2 di taska.

Kek tu mami yang buat pun.. and I am sure teacher yang suruh Sara buat camtu camni masa tangkap gamba..

Umar dapat hadiah train and duplo. Sampai tak boleh tido malam main duplo dan train. The boys had fun setting up the train set. Tapi unfortunately video tak berapa cantik walaupun sangat fun.

Coincidently. Efan celebrated his birthday this month as well. Sejak ada babies ni, birthday Efan selalu agak low-key (hahah.. sheepish). Haritu we went to Pizza Hut for his birthday. Only the four of us.

Pizza Hut di Wangsa Maju sangat popular dengan birthday parties - they will turn down the lights and play hip HBTY song with the staff carrying in the birthday cake with candles all lit. With clapping and all. We celebrated Efan's bday here when he was 7 or 8 I guess. Dia punya la nervous nye (and kept asking Efan punya ke? Efan punya ke? when the HBTY song was played. Kelakar pulak bila ingat).

So the other day I asked him, mama bawak kek dan kita suruh staff Pizza Hut tu nyanyi ye..? Kata Kaia, tengok2 Efan kata nak; camne? hahahah. The happy birthday wish above was sent by Efan to himself (I will send that to myself too on my birthday; just to remind myself that I am in fact awesome actually!)

And how time flies. Kita je yang tak sedar umur makin banyak maka maksudnya masa yang tinggal makin berkurangan untuk persediaan hari2 yang abadi.

Nikmat2Nya

We were at Luqman's/Izzi's place the other day. For lunch. Kesian newly-weds kena masak untuk kami yang datang beramai.

Bila tengok gambar Sara kat sini baru teringat balik yang rumah ni memang sangat berangin dan tak berapa kena matahari sangat. We stayed at this place close to 10 years before moving to our current home.

The lantai is super-shiny sebab baru kena grind balik. Home sweet home. The hosts cooked spaghetti for us with fruit cocktail. Dan saya bawak ice cream potong (saje..)

Sangat suka gambar ni. The simplest pleasure in a child's life - catching billowing curtains. Sara berlari2 di rumah 'cle Luq dia.

Time Out lah. Dah Letih.

Diam tak diam it has been a year since the last time I have been to anywhere! (ha, nak start whine lah tu..). Macam tak percaya setahun tak keluar rumah; kecuali balik kampung mom sitting.

So alang2 cuti panjang labor day weekend we decided to get out of town berjalan2. Mula2 plan nak pergi KT, tapi semua orang busy to take such a long trip. Jadi kami ke PD je.

We stayed at the new Lexis Hibiscus.

Company ada special rate; dapat lah murah sikit.. Dan sangat berbaloi. The room comes with a dip pool, a sauna(!), bath tub dan dual shower heads in the bathroom. Sara gembira bertukar2 tempat mandi sesuka hati dia.

If you are there, make sure you get a villa that does not face one another. Sebab pool di porch, kalau rumah mengadap2 nak mandi apa kat pool. We took their sky villa, one that sits in the tower. Memang for sure tak ada unit yang mengadap kami. Selamat. And we were on the 12th floor. Lagi best; we get all the nice view.

They have different types of villa, depending on location. On the tower, di daun, di kelopak bunga, di stigma dan yang paling mahal di hujung stigma tu; the presidential suite.

With multitude things to do. Sedway, cycling, tandem, swimming dan macam2 lagi.

Recommended to go. Tak boring. And breakfast was enormous (padan le dengan harga pun..) Mungkin next time nak pergi tapi nak ambik unit yang mengadap ke open sea. And no view of any activity at all - only the open sea and sky. Should be interesting. Or boring(?)
