The Umrah Part 1 - Shed Those Locks

One of the things we promised we must do when we were in Makkah in 2012 was to take the kids for their umrah. Kalau bukan kami yang tunjukkan bumi Rasulullah pada anak2, siapa lagi. What better lesson to teach them if not the love for the rasul.

Dan. Apa lagi yang nak ditinggalkan pada anak2 jika tidak kecintaan ini.

Alhamdulillah we did the ziarah dan umrah a few weeks ago. Unfortunately Zuf cant come, she's late into her pregnancy already (more stories on cucu on other upcoming posts InsyaaAllah).

Finally.. (unfortunately I dont have a group photo. We were all too tired by then). Btw, our hotel is that door with blue lights at the left.

MasyaaAllah; the hotel is very, very close to the Haram. Kata ustaz, kalau malam2 tak boleh tidur tu pergi je lah ke masjid berniat i'tikaf. Nanti kalau rasa sakit perut balik lah semula ke hotel. Kalau dah azan pun sempat sangat pulang ke masjid semula. And he was right.

I think, unavoidably, I will do this umrah experience in a few posts (or many, who knows). With photos. Please bear with me - I have too much to share.
